It would be great to be able to sync content directly between computers running Echodio over a LAN, rather than having to upload everything first. Currently, all tracks have to be uploaded by machine 1, then downloaded by both machine 2 and machine 3; costly on time and bandwidth.

Adding a local sync option would speed this process up massively (particularly for first syncs).

i have one iMac and one Macbook Pro ; i am desperately looking for a solution for syncing my iTunes and iPhoto libraries, or at least sync the ratings and meta...

Limit how much of my connection echdio can use for syncing... so I don't ruin everyone's internet connection.

At home we have 3 computers and 2 laptops that all read from the same data source a NAS. Currently keeping the metadata and file locations updated on each machine is very cumbersome. I don't need cloud storage, I don't need actual files being copied around, I just need the data updated and pointed to the right place otherwise I have to copy and reimport a masterfile to every machine whenever new audio is added to the library.

I set up echodio on Mac1... went downstairs and tried to set up on Mac2. Mac2 doesn't accept my password (and I've entered it very carefully) so I can only guess I've mistyped when I set up on Mac1.

But there doesn't seem to be anywhere I can reset my password

Am I missing something here? I want to sync iTunes across two machines. I want to sync my general library and playlists. It seems like a fundamental idea but with this I have to specifically drag to a special playlist. Seems like the most basic functionality is missing to me.

1. I already have Dropbox for syncing files with my various macs.
2. I would love to have a solution for syncing my itunes' content between them.
3. why not use Dropbox to sync the files while echodio makes sure that the metadata (playlists, play count, rating, ..) is synced. That would seem like a perfect couple to me :)

any sync to android. i have said G1 device on home page photo, but don't see anything about wonderful sync to said world of android ;-)

I read that it is a feature "coming soon" but haven't heard when this will happen. I want to sync my macbook pro to my mac mini htpc, but haven't found a good program to do so with. This looks awesome, but can't sync everything I have..

This would be useful for podcasts, audiobooks and long DJ mixes where the track's "Remember playback position" option is set in iTunes.
